I put a 6.5 clone(Harbor Freight copy of Honda GX200) in my Tote Gote (minibike for climbing mountain trails)and the motor sets sideways which renders almost all GO-Kart pipes/mufflers useless to me.
I need preferably, a stock Honda muffler/spark arrestor that will fit.
The stock clone muffler was HUGE and would not fit. I took a cut off grinder and pared the muffler down while I am testing and getting everything correct on the conversion. The muffler I need CANNOT extend right of the exhaust port center line more than 2 1/4 inches to clear my down tube.
My other option is get a Super Trapp 5S spark arrestor and resonator and have some one weld something up for me........EXPENSIVE!!!!!(that would break my meager budget)........I looked on the Honda parts site and there is a bunch of muffler/spark arrestors but with no dimensions and very poor pictures.
Does anyone know of a stock Honda part (and part number) I can search for to fit my applications. OR a Honda parts site with better descriptions of the parts with dimensions? What I need is out there, I just can't identify it!

That valve cover reminds me of my Honda lawnmower engine!
Have you considered mufflers from those?

Rob .........................that's exactly what it is, a lawnmower/rototiller/snow blower motor.
The problem is when I go to a Honda parts site they want to know what model number of the implement the motor application is for. I have no application or model number , it's just a raw motor scabbed into my Tote Gote.
I need one that has the little header pipe as there are fins in the way of flush mounting. I have found lots of different models on line but NONE have any dimentions or decent pictures that I can order from.
I think what I'm going to have to do is just wander thru Home Depot and all the lawnmower shops til I eyeball one that will work for me and then get the part number off the item.
I went to my local lawnmower shop(a very LARGE one) and approached the counter and the parts guy was dead in the water without a model number of the machine. also Honda mufflers vary in cost from $15 to $140, I need one from the low end of the range.
Was just thinking that with all the gear heads on the list there might be a guy that races go karts and would be familiar with stock stuff too.

Joe, you might want to check go-kart racing supply houses. That engine has its own class in go-kart racing and there are a lot of aftermarket parts available for it, everything from hot cams to exhaust headers.

Can you get a header pipe made up custom to run toward the back where you could attach any number of small mufflers mounted under the passenger seat?

I'm going to need a short compact stock muffler.
All the pipes on line are for motors that are mounted with the crankshaft across the bike and the pipe is intended to shoot the exhaust out the back of the machine.
My motor is mounted with the crank in line with the bike like a BMW. Hence all the aftermarket pipes are designed to shoot out the back of the machine and if they are mounted on mine the shoot OUT THE SIDE OF THE BIKE/SCOOTER!!!!(ouch my leg).
I don't weld or I would buy parts and fab my own, but that is still more expensive that a stock muffler from Honda.
I will just pour over the lawnmower shops till I spy something that will fit and then snag the part number.
