My dad had me watch a video titled "Ride like a pro" which was basically a motorcycle officer showing how to do very tight cornering on a Harley with his police taught techniques.
Look at this similar video, It's scary how he pulls the bike like that. ;D

I was at a charity motorcycle event a few years ago and our local Sheriff's motorcycle squad was putting on a demo of riding skills just like this. One of the deputies was smaller than me, probably 5"5" or 5'6", and to see him through that big Harley around was amazing. At one point two of them were doing intertwining figure 8's in a space not much bigger than the bike was long. It was impressive!

I've seen a couple of police video's like that ... truly astonishing and very humbling.

He is a good rider, it certainly helps to have a bike with a very low CofG for that type of work. I try to do some less radical version of this with my R65LS in my driveway. But, trying it with my Concours, which weighs about 250 pounds MORE than the R65, AND which has a 7.5 gallon fuel tank mounted way up high, I am much more, uh, chicken..

Wow, and I thought we were being tough guys when we pulled off a Figure 8 within 2 parking spaces in the riding class I took to knock off the rust when I bought the '82! ;D
