I can't comment on the video because I am at work, but that is some great stonework!
Did they build a replacement Abby across the street?

Thats the Church St Mary,s relatively new (1110)

, zoom out one click and you see the ruins of the Abbey and a "square" area in front of what is now the visitor center, a nice piece of stonework too.

if you read the write up under the photo you find that most of the stone was "nicked" from the Abbey ruins.

Derek reminded me that we were in Hawes. Is there a butcher shop there with a sign that says "famous since 1983"? This was 1994!! Hee Hee! There are so many old old signs that we thought this was funny. We have a cast iron sign on our home that says "On this site in 1897 nothing happened". Same idea! Oh, I wish I lived where you do! My dad was born in Halifax Yorkshire.
Ah, Wensleydale cheese says Wallace to Gromit! What a nice bit of cheese! [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif] Not quite Wallace's hand movement, rolling his fingers.

Any thread that mentions both Monty Python and cheese deserves to be referred to the Cheese Shop:
