I bought a new lawn mower today(B&Q).........the instruction book says do not use in a confined space as the exhaust fumes can cause death or even cancer ??????? did i read it right is death worse than cancer ?? does that mean i cannot use it in my bedroom.

I got tired of pushing my mower around the yard so I built a robotic mower.
It's awesome.... beer in one hand controller in the other and I never break a sweat!

I kind of miss mowing the lawn from my midwestern US home (Chicago) of 37 years, as here in the Phoenix area, crushed rock and cacti are the most common front and back yard area landscaping .

But Bob - those sorts of yards are much more eco-friendly in your part of the country - so pat yourself on the back for not using kilowatt hours of energy and thousands of gallons of precious clean water to maintain vegetation that isn't meant to grow there !
Up here, we get plenty of rain, usually, though my part of the state is largely glacial moraine (gravel) and granite builders with a thin covering of topsoil. If we don't get rain for a few weeks, the collection of weeds that I call my lawn starts to dry up. But I don't bother with watering it - I have to do less mowing that way !

Bob, it sounds so lush and inviting......I'm picturing you out there
mowing your rocks and raking up razor sharp cacti needles.

I'm a firm believer that you can't improve on nature. Yard work cuts into my motorcycle time.
