Well - maybe not. Found this and thought I'd share it with our northern cousins because I just know they are prone to save time with nifty little thoughts. Just remember, a blow torch should be not be used to melt ice on a stoop.... :o

Some people can be pretty stupid.  One of my favorites is people throwing hot water on their windshield to clear away ice...
