Summer's officially here in Phoenix, it's 105 F. ( 41 C.) at 17:30.
No 'choke' needed to start the R65 when I left work at 16:30 today.

I was wondering how it was doing down there. I was thinking of you when it hit 100 F. here in Northern California on Thursday and Friday.

Yesterday and today set a weather record for Phoenix, yesterday was the first day that it reached or exceeded 100 F., today is the first day of the year that it has reached 110 F. or greater.
Has not happened since records were kept since the 1870's.

Well, today we set a new record at 99, but the heat index was actually lower due to a rare case of hot plus very low humidity. A hunnert probably ain't too far off...

I sense a round of "It was so hot that..." Jokes any moment now. [smiley=1drink.gif]

Gee whiz ! Our weather forecast here in NH is calling for scattered snow flurries in the mountains tonight, low temps around 32 here by the lake.. typically
New England springtime - at least it ought to slow down the propagation of those #$%^&! biting black flies !
It could be worse, I suppose - glad that we don't have any crazy raspberry ants up here...
