Title: Number Of Members

I saw the current number of members, and it is 267, and I thought WOW, we've grown a lot in the last year. But after going through the membership, it seems like the bulk of the posts are still made from the first 25-30 or so members on the list, and then about another 25-30 sporadic posting members. So for the most part we're still about the same size as about a year ago as far as active members are concerned, when we were spammed back to the stone age !

But those 200 non-active members are not spamming us!


I cannot begin to guess the number of forums I have registered on, and never gone back, or only rarely, and then posting more rarely yet.

I go between  this one BMWMOA and BMWSporttouring. A lot of good information and pics in all.

I also bounce between here, BMWMOA and Boxerworks, though this place definitely feels
more like "home"... :D

If somebody registers but never logs back in to finish registration, I delete the account after 30 days.  If they log back in, finish registration, never post anything AND it's been 180 days since they last logged in I whack 'em...  So, the users we have in the tally have registered, and at least logged in in the past 6 months.  I'm plan to start whacking users that have posted but have not logged in for a year or longer - once we get to that point.
