Hang around garages and shops long enough and you'll hear references to PB Blaster. This stuff is a penetrating lubricant that helps free rusted hardware by way of capillary action. A good product to keep in your shop.

Blaster -The chemical, not the character in "Beyond Thunderdome"- has a couple brothers that are also very useful.

TDL, The Dry Lube, is a silicone-free spray that lubricates tool mechanisms and reduces drag. Likewise, CSP -Corrosion Stop Protectant- will keep your tools and other items safe from corrosion and rust during long-term storage.

I don't sell this stuff but I use it because it outperforms most everything else on the market. Get you some

for smaller nuts and bolts i use it, good stuff for sure and i use the air tool oil in all my tools every time one comes out of the tool box. that stuff works well in prolonging th life of air tools between rebuilding the tool.

for bigger bolts (over 3/8") i know out the air hammer and impact guns and pound on them till the rust turns to dust.

PBB is probably about the best "consumer grade" penetrant I've found.  If you can find Kroil it works better but is more expensive than the others.  As far as air tools, I have always used Marvels Mystery Oil with excellent results.  In fact, I got a squirt bottle of Marvels Air Tool Oil with a die-grinder I bought once and it looks/smells/feels just like the stuff in the steel can!

I'll have to find some of the CSP and see how it works on stored guns...
