Title: New Member and still looking.

Thought I'd best get this done whilst I was on here. Although I've not got a beemer at the moment I am looking to get one, hopefully an R65 or naked R80/100, but preferably an R65. In the past I've had an R80RT and a rather interesting R80ST that I brought back from Germany and had been the bike of a former ISDT champion. At the moment I've got a number of BMW's East German cousins, namely MZs, which I'm a bit of a fan of despite the ridicule they can sometimes attract! Hopefully I'll have a BMW soon and will look forward to becoming more involved in the forum and at meets.

Welcome,

I've never had an MZ but admired them for their rugged simplicity and heritage.  If you are of a certain age you might remember the Motorcycle Sport magazine (the red 'un).  In the 70's and 80's the two makes that most featured in discussion were BMW and MZ. 

Good luck with search for an R65.
