Most of you know that the login box has a forgotten password request but after looking through the error log it seems a lot of folks seem to think the "feature" is psychic - you must have a valid e-mail address in your profile for this to work.
When you click this you have to enter your username or e-mail address. If you enter an e-mail address it MUST be the one you registered from and if you enter a username your "help" info will be sent TO the e-mail address you registered from.
When y'all change e-mail addresses don't forget to change it in your profile.

Thanks for the reminder, the email address I had here, was closed by Yahoo in their last security breach .

Exactly, Bob, there are a lot of people with out of date e-mail addresses and therefore the "password recovery" won't work. I can't "see" stored passwords as they are encrypted. I can, however, dig a submitted password and login name out of the error log and I can see what is happening with a lot of folks...
