Title: New member, just purchased a 1986 R65

Hi All, I'm a longtime Beemer rider and I was on Craigslist looking for a rowboat for my cottage in Northern Michigan. I couldn't find a rowboat but I came across a beautiful azure blue R65 in great condition located only a few miles from my place. It's fairly stock but I did remove the fugly national cycle barn door windscreen. I'll post pics soon.

I reckon the R65 has more potential than a row-bot.. he he                                               "Boo" !!

With your new purchase, start finding out in corners, holds her line steadily the ol' R65 does.  It's very involving!  I don't have any race bike experience though sorry... So I guess anything feels good!
