Merry Christmas one and all, or Saturnalia or whatever celebration your imaginary friend of choice allows you to celebrate.
And a prosperous New Year (except of course for those whose imaginary friend has issued edicts against prosperity - in which event insert some suitable general wish acceptable to the imaginary friend of your your choice).
Stuff it!
Everyone, just have a great time, hope it all goes well and see you back here next year.

Lets try this one on for size. It attempts to avoid all racist, sexist, homophobic, and nationalistic overtones and is politically (if not grammatically) correct in the best sense of the term.
Compliments of the silly season to youse all. Have a safe and festive time and a PEACEFUL new year.
On second thoughts, I'll just go with Oz guru Tony's attempt and add my thanks for the continuing support from the R65 community for my no such thing as a silly question(s) this year.

Merry Christmas one an all.

Speaking of Christmas wish lists and letters to Santa,
What motorcycle of any brand or vintage would you like to find parked alongside your Merry Ho Ho tree? You go first...

Guzzi Centauro. ~sigh~ Not going to happen in the near future.
Oh well. I will 'try' to enjoy our 5 week holiday trip to Thailand. hehehe Renting bikes (Honda CB500X for the spouse, Honda Forza for me) for three weeks of the trip, will see what there is to see in northern Thailand. Going to attempt to rent a couple scooters in Siem Reap. I've heard one cannot rent bikes there, so we may be on the 1 human powered models.
Hope you all have happy and joyous holidays, whatever your religion is, and a fabulous New Year!
Dee

The side business of scooter rentals in Siem Reap and other locales is, like Wirespokes, alive and well. An open secret the gubmint it turns a blind eye to. Money speaks all languages.

Tony, thanks. Happy Holidays to everyone out there. Hoping all of you have an enjoyable celebration with friends and family. But mostly a New Year filled with good health, happiness, safe travels and prosperity.
My wish Monte ... an original and complete '62 R60/2 in need of restoration would bring a smile to my face.

Merry Christmas to all our R65 asylum members. May you and your families enjoy the coming year with good health, prosperity and peace. May your motorcycles start "on the button", their tires remain full and round, paint and chrome sparkle in the Sun and your helmet remain unscratched.

Sorry Tony,
I mislead you all, it was a wish, not the reality as the thread said...
However, we are now very close, bodywork is going in for painting, I have the starter motor cover away at the powder coaters and the carbs need some work, everything else is done and almost assembled.
I am seriously contemplating having an S fairing fitted, all being well, MOT in early Feb and then she is road legal and ready to roll :)
Now looking for the next project, I won't be making the same mistakes I made with the 65 again, lots of lessons learned!!!!
I really fancy a R100RS, anybody know of one that is/might/could be up for sale? Needs to be genuine with all the right bits in all the right places, don't mind work as I have an excellent airhead specialist (ex-motorworks UK) ready to help with the bits I can't do.
Pics will follow when complete, it won't be a garage queen finish, but should look very nice...
