I bumped into this lucky lad at squires, his R65 was a 21,st birthday present from his dad !!!!!!! I passed details of this forum on so maybe he will join soon..

Is the vehicle identification plate on the right side steering head gusset, the norm for Euro spec bikes ???
Nothing like that for North American version bikes .

Yes that's standard, Gertie has one, also as far as I recall the engine number and frame numbers are matching on UK/EU bikes I forgot to check what mileage it had on it but Andrew was asking me how I got the alloy Snowflakes and engine bits to look so good on Gertie ??? er alloy clean (acid ) and a pressure washer, for some reason his alloy wheels where blotchy so I advised him to have his rims soda blasted.
