Hello All, I'm another new member here (woohoo!).

I have inherited (actually bought, for a bit too much) an '82 R65LS from a friend who is thinning his herd.  I've only ridden the little beast for about a mile so far.  It'll be sitting in the garage until this fall when I take most of it down for fixes.  I have three other Beemers in the garage so I'm in no real hurry to get it on the road.  Looks like a fun project to me.  Anyone in northern Illinois that has advise or wants to drop by let me know.

Welcome to our asylum, Mark. Believe I caught you on the AirList, right?

All us inmates love to see photos of our forum member's bikes so when you can, post up some snaps.

We always keep an eye out for Nurse Ratched so forewarned is forearmed.  :D

Hello Monte,

Yes, that was me on the Airlist asking about the cracked paint on the LS wheels.  I'm looking forward to the information on this forum, without the politics and drama (if you're an ABC member you know what I mean).  The bike will be some good fun this winter when I take it down.
