Title: Great weather!
Post by: thrang on April 05, 2015, 12:42:20 PM
Just thought I say the weather over Easter in the English Lakes has been fantastic. Got the Bimbo all preped up and ready for the Welsh National Rally next month and even got out on her wearing my leathers and armour jeans, makes a change from the rain. Happy days!

Lovely spring day today 17.4 Deg C. I've had family around but managed a brief ride to start scuffing in a new front tyre.

I rode mine to work today.  Mostly because I have a meeting after work that prevents me from bicycling.  Oh well, it's a two-wheeled fix.

I must say the change of season has certainly brought this forum to life! Great to hear you northern hemisphere riders in cooler locations have finally got the chance to get back on your bikes.

Here in Sydney it has certainly cooled down but still comfortable in summer gear. Maybe around this time of year every R65 in the world is on the road ?

It would be interesting to know how many 65's are up and about worldwide.

I know there is a database of this, but not sure it is fully up to date and accurate.

That reminds me, I need to update my entry.
