Nice one!

I love the road lights.  Looks like serious illumination!

Glad to have you in the herd, Luke.

Any charging and/or battery issues running those lamps? Our R65s really don't put a good charge into the battery until revs are above 2500 +/-. Stop n' go city riding can be challenging for the stock charging system.

Montmil, I also run a heated jacket sometimes in the cold.  I usually dont run both will at low revs but I do mostly freeway riding with both on so the revs are up.  When I am at stop lights the charge light is on, but other than that no I dont have any issues.  I would like to swap out those lights for some LED lights but they are still to pricey for me.  LEDs will definitely help though.

Maybe try these Crees out. They are a lot less money than the Denalis and "clear-whatevers" but they are bright. Now they are for conspicuity only really and probably wouldn't be as good at night riding as those you have. But Monte is right....your battery will thank you. OR you could consider the kits that up the output of the alternator.....Motorrad Electrik has a kit as does Euromotoelectrics. Both are highly touted and provide approx. 120-170 watts more juice for running farkles! I have the euromotoelectrics on my LS and run some daytime LED running lights from R&P Carriages and heated liner and sometimes gloves too.

Nice LS!  Welcome home.

The only dumb question on this website is the question not asked!
