Title: New to me R65.

New member here. I picked up an 1982 R65 from a friend in January and plan on getting it road worthy and enjoying it. This is my first motorcycle for the street but I think it is a great fit for me. I have been playing with air cooled Citroen Mehari's for many years and have a thing for air cooled opposed engines.

This is a great site with so much information.

Don't be shy about posting any problems with your new to you bike, there's a lot of knowledge about these forgotten bikes on this site .
