I am a proud owner of a basket-case (see sig), and am very excited.
Was recommended this forum, and I plan on bugging you guys as I progress with making my new baby a rideable bike.

Quick question about your sig line 1983 R69 basket case... maybe a 1983 R65?

The lovely R69 and the R69"S" model had a production run from 1955-1969. http://www.ask.com/wiki/BMW_R69S

Fixed. I better get the model right when I buy parts I guess...
I also should not post while the excitement is combined with cider, whiskey, and wine...

It sounds like a song....  A queasy one, to be sure.

Ah, a blues song I have has the bit "champagne, whiskey and wine" or maybe it's rye.
