He fell from his bed last night, hit his head, and never woke up.
I have no more details or arrangement plans as of yet, but thought that those of us who know her personally, or through her many years on this board, might want to know.
Aida, you and your family are very much in our thoughts...

That is very, very sad news. Our thoughts and prayers are with Aida and her family at this most painful time.
Thank you Steve, for keeping us informed.

That is terrible! At least she has Graham, her kitties and her motos to help lift her spirits.
Oh yeah, her horn and her faith, too!

Damn...

Very sorry for your loss, Aida.

Thank you guys. He was one of a kind and he's the one that instilled my love of motorcycles. :'(
We went to visit my uncle in Montana on a family vacation back when I was 13 or 14 years old. My uncle had a Kawasaki and let my dad take me for a ride on it. We went out on a loop and on the way back, he put me up front and gave me the controls. I was hooked. Just took me awhile to get one of my own. When I talked to him on Father's Day last Sunday he was telling me how jealous he was of our motorcycling adventures. He gave them up when the kids came along and never got back to it. Although, he did take a ride or two on my R65. :)
We don't really know what happened to him. My sister found him on the floor in his bedroom on Sunday morning. He had fallen a couple of times before without any memory of it happening. We think he probably had a stroke or heart attack or something in the middle of the night and he either tried to get up or just fell out of bed.
We're still stunned. Thanks for your prayers and good wishes.

Sounds like things went well for him in his later years .
