Now, Bob... I have both a mother and a wife so unsure what position Mike could adequately fill.::)

We do plan many mid-week lunch ride-outs to places ol' Phorqs ain't never been. And a few we'd just as soon hope our significant others don't hear about.

Crenshaw!!

Congrats on your retirement.  I hate you (tongue firmly planted in cheek).  Don't forget to excercise that new knee joint on the non-riding days.

You and Monte ride safe.

-Mike V.

Well Bob, you snuck this one in on me.  Yep, it was a pretty good first day of not having to punch a time clock.  First time in over fifty years that I find myself unemployed.  As for giving Monte a hard time, I don't think that will be necessary.  What with all of the yard work and home repairs he's been doing lately, nothing I come up with can touch it.

It is nice to know that I can take my time doing the necessary chores, as well as have time to do the things I've only been able to (day) dream about before now.  It ain't work if you'd rather be doing something else so now I get to do the something else.  Spent some quality time yesterday bonding with my R90 retorquing heads and adjusting valve lash.  She's good to go.  If it weren't raining today I'd be going somewhere.

I don't know about him, but I suspect I'll ride a lot less after I retire.  No hundred mile commute.

I won't miss it.

Daily?

I know some locals here in town that "chase the dime" in Dallas and do 100+ daily. Oh, the Horror!

Enjoy your retirement Mike.

Your time is your own (obviously the wife will no doubt find many things to fill it...), enjoy the fine weather, company, beer and your bikes!

Phorqs, since you have all this time on your hands why don't you peddle over this morning and help me put all this freakin' Tupperware back on my RTP!!!

I have a few more years before I can join you, if I live that long...

Congrats!
