Title: To our British members: comments on Altberg Boots

I like the look of the old style tall motorcycle boots made by Altberg I think the manufacturer is. They have a factory in Richmond. Anyone have any experience with them or comments? The velcro or buckle are neat looking. How about waterproofness...my biggest requirement.

I have no experience with Altberg motorcycle boots other than I heard our police wear them so that suggests they are high quality.

I guess you've seen the web site which says they have a waterproof membrane, probably Gortex or something similar. http://www.altberg.co.uk/product/clubman-classic-with-buckles/

Sorry I can't be more help. I'm the last person to know about modern boots as I'm still wearing these 1980's Goldtop boots also worn by the police back then. How's this for "Tall old style"
