Certainly is !
I had to miss out on going to the East Lancs Railway Classic bike event yesterday. There's nothing local until Thundersprint at Northwich on the 12/13th of May and a Classic bike event at Cholmondeley Castle the same weekend. I usually go to Cholmondeley but I think I'll go to Thundersprint this year... weather permitting. SWMBO rides pillion for these short runs up to 100 miles but I can't tempt her to go further afield.

My next trip is coming up on April 25th. Going through the capital cities in the Southern portion of the USA and hitting JazzFest in New Orleans along the way. Can't wait! A map of the trip can be seen at:

I'll be in Europe in June and July. I'm taking my 18 yo nephew along and he's going to ride on the back of my R1100RS around Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland.

The Britbikers will going to Blowing Rock NC the weekend of the May 18th - 20th for the Three State Mountain ride which is a 200 mile ride through picturesque NC - Tenn - VA on Saturday - rain or shine. Now A 200 mile ride is *nothing* for the more modern R65. But for ancient britbikes it is another thing altogether.
Home base is the Blowing Rock Inn. Last year we had over 100 riders in two groups: Slow and Slower and it was great fun.

I intend to ride up to Blowing Rock by way of the Blue Ridge Motorcycle Campground near Caruso NC starting the Thursday before. I'll be camping off the my 1971 BSA thunderbolt. Most will trailer there bikes in but there is a growing but small contingent of "riders".
