what's the best way to check if my upper and lower rear shock bushes are worn or not on my 65 LS :-/
-
(cautiously) What brought up the question? Just grab the shock near the bolt in question and try to wiggle it. If the bolt/nut is tight and the shock wiggles much anyway, the bushing is probably bad.

A visual inspection will usually show whether it's worn out or not. Cracks, spongy bushing, metal tube falls out, etc.

Bad handling brought the up the question, but i'm going to change the shocks soon anyway, but i thought maybe it's the bushes that need replacing and not the whole shocks.
