Title: topic subscriptions - notifications

Hello

is there a way to automatically get a notification email without clicking the tab at the top of the page?
I know it's not hard to do but i keep forgetting to click it!

I think you can do it by editing your profile in the users control panel.

When you go to a sub-section (like General Announcements), but without opening a thread, there should be a row of check-boxes on the far right-hand side.  
Check the box for the thread you want to be notified of, and then scroll to the bottom of the page and you should see a button that says "Notification".

I also see that below the last post in a thread, there is a button "Get Notification".  That should work, too.

Keep in mind that I am a Moderator and I may see things that general users may not see.
Let me know if you cannot find them.

You will need a valid email address in your User CP.
