I have developed a love/hate relationship with the www. See if this doesn't sound familiar to you...
Shopping is fun! We're just a click away from completing holiday gift buying, a new set of silverware, clothing, tools, music, movies, books and, of course, BMW pieces parts. Depending on your locale, there's no sales tax. Shipping, if not free, is approaching the price of fuel required to go shop for whatever it is you want. That's the love part.
The other end involves impatience. Mine. When I pay for something, I want it right then. Especially if the purchased item is holding up progress on an important project... like the fork seals in my R65.
After a harmless little post in General Announcements suggesting the local purchase of BMW-compatible bearings and seals, I was volunteered by an illustrious moderator potentate, who shall remain nameless, to develop a list of items which I had located from area bearing & industrial supply concerns.
The following should be considered as a Work in Progress as it is incomplete. Readers and riders are strongly encouraged to submit additions and/or corrections. Hopefully, this soon-to-be FAQ topic will help get you back on the road in a timely manner. Thanks, Justin.

Hey, it sounded like you were volunteering! ;D

That looks like a pretty NON-mono-shock-bike friendly list.
Just to warn them.
Thanks!!
