Title: Paint Colour

I plan on repainting my bike sometime this fall.  It is a 79 R65 and has currently got at least 3 shades of red.  Does anyone know what red paint comes closest (which manufacturer...Ford, GM?) to the stock original colour.  Are there any pictures around?

I suggest continuing to browse the internet with search strings such as "bmw r65 paint codes". (Include the model year if you like.) I recall seeing a web site (from the UK, I think) that featured a rather comprehensive catalog of BMW color names and paint codes by model and year. Unfortunately, I can't recall the site address.
