Welcome azhooligan .

Looking at your avatar, is that the eastern end of South Mountain just above your truck ?

No I'm out in Buckeye. I put Phx cause people tend to not know where Buckeye is.

Nice looking bike, didn't see that bike listed in the usual classified ads here locally .

How many miles on it ?

Then I guess that the mountain in question, would be the northern end of the Sierra Estrella mountains .

Had to walk outside at work (Sky Harbor Airport) to check to make sure I was right .

Not sure about the mileage the odometer is broken at 2999. The bike was 1 of 5 BMW's at my parents house. It was sitting not getting used so my mom let me take it.

Get back to work, Bob. You've got enough to keep you busy for awhile. But on the other hand, I'm wondering if Mom would enjoy a Texas visitor.

Excuse us, Arizona Hooligan. We get off track in a hurry when free BMWs are mentioned. Ask anybody 'round here... Free is my favorite four-letter "F" word.

Welcome. Let's see some more photos.  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Haha no worries. My folks I think are done for now. They each have their own touring bikes and dual sports now. The R65 had been sitting for 8 months so it came to my house.

Hey welcome to another Arizona member!  Glad to have ya! I think we've almost got enough members to have a mini-get together somewhere.  ;D

Welcome azhooligan!
I've been to Buckeye!  Here's a shot of me camped at that neat game refuge campground outside of town.  I'll be heading back to Az in Mid Feb for R&R.  Probably take the R65GS this time.

Hmm. Monte, I gotta disclose: When I was in the Army, there was a lifer Nike Hercules launcher section chief who got his special weapons access revoked for an incident involving a vacuum cleaner. (Don't ask, don't tell.) (};o)
