Hi,

As dictated by the site terms, this is my mandatory newbie post.
I'm based in Drogheda, Ireland and I look forward to swapping tips, info, monstrous lies and preposterously unfounded claims of technical expertise with you all in in the near future.

According to his Baptismal Certificate, My Grandfather "Henricus Murphy" was born April 1873 in "The Bog" which was the name of a locality about 1 mile outside the village of Celbridge - in modern times called Kilwogan.  Outside Dublin, I believe.

I'm told this makes him a bona fide "Bog Irishman".
