Title: Free Food!

For those in North Texas who have a proclivity for free food (Monte are you reading this?) the BMW of Fort Worth is having an open house today with pancakes at 9am and burgers and dogs at noon. [smiley=lurker.gif]

Dang! Y'all know that FREE is my favorite 4-letter F-word. But wait... Food is a 4-letter F-word, too. An all day spread is almost worth skipping the free donuts and coffee down at the local funeral home.

However, I'm attending a poker run & all-comers bike show event in Denton County this Saturday hosted by the Texas Independent Touring Society, that T.I.T.S. for short. The largely HD crowd will be doing their thing in support of the Susan B. Komen project. There's really no pun intended with the benefit. Honest. It's legit.

Hopefully, the weather will cooperate a bit and I'll post a pic or two in the "Rides n' Events" section.

That's gotta be something serious if Monte is turning down free food!

A likely story Lou.  Besides, the foods all gone now.  But plan ahead for the July 4th British memorial rally or some such.  I believe that Monte and Texas Burt may be making that rally.  I might be persuaded if someone can come up with donuts and I can get the Turnip 250 sorted out.  If not then the elderly R90 is up to the ride.

I would do the Brit end of the memorial ride but i had already committed to a Western Event at the Classic American car show Gertie will be doing an Afghan Hero,s charity event the following weekend in Blackpool though

Monte's going to go Lone Wolf.  If I commit it will be the same way.  Looking at the route plan it's mostly Hardly riders.  They'll ride 20 miles, stop for 20  minutes, ride another 20 miles, then stop for another 20 minutes, then the last 20 miles into the event.  Not my idea of a ride but I guess it works for some people.
