Title: Another Milestone
Post by: Semper Gumby on May 02, 2010, 07:59:04 PM: I passed 100,000 miles on the R65 this morning heading to Atlanta from Hiawassee GA and the BMWMOGA Georgia Mountain Rally.

Had great time this weekend and met R65Mark!

Here is to the second 100,000 miles. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

BTW trolle - I have installed the heated 'handgrips' you sent....grrr.....not being very technically minded it was a pain.....but I have to say now that the colder weather has hit us: :) Now all I need is a heated seat and I am confident that I would say that it would feel like I'm basting in my own juices! ;D

I'm impressed that you succeeded, but the more difficult the greater the satisfaction, eh?

And yes, warm handles should be a human right!

Been wanting to send my congratulations your way. Huge feat, mega miles and I'm sure a lot of fulfilment on your part. I appreciate your accumulation of miles, something I want to spend more time on when the girls are out of the house. I do a coast to coast annually and treasure the personal accomplishments and experiences that come with being on the road. Here's to many more safe, enjoyable miles. I'll bet you have stories to tell, huh?
