Post by: aussie on May 05, 2010, 05:06:22 AM
Well after a bit of a hiatus....actually make that a bloody long sojurn  [smiley=embarassed.gif] ....I seem to have returned. I trust that this finds everyone well and - at least in the NH - getting their bikes ready to rock 'n roll for another season.

Cheers from the land down under where men are men and sheep run scared.

Hi Aussie!

I was thinking about you and wondering how you are doing down there in Oz Land in the other side of the world wine country!   ;)

Yes, bikes are getting ready for riding.  I was already riding this year and getting in some good rides.  Then in March she sucked a valve.  I may have her back next week if the parts that have been ordered finally arrived today like they were supposed to.   ::)

I hope you've been able to get some riding in.

Cheers!   [smiley=beerchug.gif]

Well I have to say I've done some riding over the Summer, but not nearly as much as I could - or indeed should have done.  :(  However, it is being rectified now that Winter has apparently arrived... ;D. Have broken out the wet weather gear, my vocab is now increasing to it's former dizzy-ing heights with cages seeming to come from nowhere and all wanting to occupy the same piece of lane at the same time as poor ol' little moi! *Shakes head sadly* Damned Aussie drivers just can't drive - well either that or they just can't be late for work - even for a millisecond !

Sorry to hear about the bike - but glad that the part has finally arrived - I hope it is not too expensive!
