Congratulations Paul.  Just remember, you got 'em for life!  Could be time to add a sidecar to the R65.

A big welcome to Charles.   [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif]  And congratulations to Mom & Dad!

By the time your winter is over you may be able to ride a bit again.   ;)

Forgive Steve. He ain't got much book learnin' but he does know a few things about BMWs. ;D

Don't know about Down Under but in the USofA, kids are referred to as tax deductions. The trick is to keep them from eating you out of house and home. Suggest you invest in grocery store stock!

Do hope Mom and Charles are doing well. Yes, Paul, we know you did play a small part, too. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Post a photo of your son. Hope he gets his good looks from his dear Mom!

Monte

I wonder what I would be like today, if my dad (or mum) was a motorcyclist?

What?!! Hmmm, guess my perception was off on that one!  :-[
Wait, maybe that was one of those quickie edits that just didn't show up!

Either way, Paul, congrats to you and your wife on your new son, Charles, and best wishes to you all.
Hopefully they will let you out to play on the R65 at least occasionally!  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Congratulations, and if you find that getting a child is a wonder, just wait till you get grandchildren. That's even better!

greetings from a sunny, cloudless north with dry roads and excellent driving conditions.

Roger the grandchildren, Trolle. We have four; all under the ages of seven years. Revenge is so sweet. We had our pair from Austin, Texas, for a week last month. Spoiled them terribly rotten and sent 'em home. ;D

Yes, and I had to listen to the whining all week.  You would have thought that he was giving 3 am feedings and changing diapers.  Speaking of which, how's that working out for you?   [smiley=bmw_smiley.gif]
Nah, just kidding about having them for life.  It's only for 25 or 30 years.  Really the worst part is the first time they don't come home when they are supposed to.

Hi All,

As I slowly get "some"normality to my schedule again, let em say thanks for all the wonderful well wishes. It really was lovely to read all the nice posts. Rest assured Charles has already touched the LS.

I go back to work on Tuesday and I am determined to commute on the bike that day, just so I can have a ride.

Best (tired) wishes to all,
Paul

Cool beans!

Did Mom look at you like you were a little loony when you showed Charles the LS? ;D

She gave a disapproving look  >:(. Charles was so overcome with the moment he was expressionless (at least that is my justification).
