Found 'em. Not OEM, but better than nothing. We'll see. The smallest one is slightly larger than the ghost logo on my faded rear cowl, but it is quite close. Blue? Black? I'm thinking I will not put one on the front, and instead put some on the blacked out sidecovers. Thoughts?

I am planning to get Tillie repainted in the coming months, and was wondering about where/who I could have make up some new decals.
Thanks!!!!!!

Definately cheap, cost me over $40AUD to get mine made and that was with me drawing up and supplying the artwork.
I will post the artwork here again in case anyone prefers to get there own decals made to the correct size and to a known quality.
(ie: The ones on Amazon have some rounded corners where they should be square.)

My henna red 1983 LS has black stickers. I think nhmaf's has blue and he has an 1982 LS in Tillie? My old 1982 had blue one's too. On the blue original one, the "LS" is 'see through' revealing the underlying colour of the bike but it is outlined in blue. The black original one has the "LS" in solid white.
Lucidchaos was a company I found several years ago when I first got LRB in 2003. I lost track of them but never forgot the name. They were listed in my "all information booklet" when it all got burnt in 2008. :o
Thank you for finding them again...I ordered 3 for whenever LRB gets a new coat of paint.

I bought a set of these in white and will cut off the "LS" to go on my 83 R5. Thanks for the link. Shipping took like one day.

To the best of my knowledge all Henna Red LS's had black stickers with an outline LS (to show the red through) and Silver LS's had the blue stickers.
No LS's had stickers on the sidecovers, they were placed on the sides of the nosecone and the rear of the ducktail.
Cheers

My Henna red LS has the original paint, and original (blue) stickers on it.
The theory held be numerous people is that the stickers were not applied at the factory, but were shipped to the dealers, who applied them. Depending on the dealer's aesthestic preferences, sometimes blue stickers went on red bikes, and sometimes black&white stickers went on silver bikes, though I think that the factory originally planned for the black/white stickers for the red bikes and the blue on the silver bikes.

Got my red decals in last week.

WOW! WOW! That is a seriously cool LS historical tidbit right there, not to mention a useful "Where exactly does the sticker go?" reference. Thanks caci! Where did you find this??? (nhmaf. . .way to snag the "ultra rare" original henna red with blue sticker model. . . . Kinda like having a misprinted dollar bill or something.) Hey! RED stickers??? What color LS is gonna have RED stickers? (I vote white.)

I've got way too much time on my hands - found this "Bulletins" link.
This page is the result of an R65 search - check out the "Search Again" button at the bottom of the page for other Models/Info.
