Hello from Murphy, NC. My name is Keith and I am 52 yrs old and recently traded my 2003 VFR for a 1979 R65. I live about 40 miles from the Dragon and Skyway. Great place to ride. Look forward to being part of this forum.

Hi Keith!
Although I am but a noob here myself, welcome! I hope you get as much encouragement and advice as I already have with my '81 R65. There seem to be a lot of interesting and helpful people on this board.
-
Welcome aboard Keith .
Show us some pictures of the Ducati mufflers, as the R65 is kinda tough to get aftermarket replacement mufflers for .

Welcome to the Farm Keith. Just dive right in. Lots of good expertise and fun to be had here without all of the rude behavior to be found on so many other forums.
You are in a great riding area. My wife and I rode through your area on our way to the rally in Johnson City, TN this year. We'll be back through one of these days, especially since the oldest son and family live in Mooresville, NC now.

On behalf of all the addicted ones here within the R65 asylum, welcome to the party.
As ol' Bengt Mike implied, we offer our opinions -worth exactly whatcha pay for 'em-, we occasionally tease one another but we never insult on purpose. That's the Prime Directive; the reason this site continues to experience solid growth.
Yes... let's see those Duke muffs on your R65 up close and personal.[smiley=thumbup.gif]
