Title: Happy Holidays
Post by: Mike V on December 18, 2009, 10:25:58 AM
I wanted to take a minute and wish everyone a Happy Holiday Season. For most of us; it's been a very difficult and challenging year financially. As I struggle to help maintain a business and a home support system in this stressful economic situation, this forum and it's influence has helped deflect my attention and feed my passion for what I truly love...riding and wrenching. For the short time I've been involved here (less than a year) the interaction and combined knowledge has literally enhanced my life, not to mention the honorable and sincere intent from all of you to help and share. I can only hope I've been able to give back in some way for all the friendships and guidance that has been sent my way.
Merry Christmas guys (& gals) and hopefully 2010 will enable all of us to obtain our goals and nurture our common love and interests.
I wish you all good health, good fortune, a full tool box and endless miles of tarmac exploration. Look forward to meeting all of you some day down the road.
Ride safe...ride often.

I'd like to echo Mike's well-spoken sentiments regarding the holidays!  Hope everyone gets something special for their bike from Santa this year (whether you were good boys and girls or not)!

As they say in Germany, "Froeliche Weinachten!"   ;)

I wish you all a merry Xmas and a happy new year.

Mike is right, the spirit of this forum is extraordinary and it is a pleasure to read your postings which are informative, compassionate and sometimes even witty.

The WH8LA2 asks me to bring her greetings to her brothers and sisters.

greetings from a very cold, down to -4 F, and white north
(Chances are that we will have our sixth white Xmas in the last 100 years this year!)

I have been a little scarce lately, but I definitely wanted to stop by to wish this wonderful 'second family' a joyous and blessed Christmas.  This is the best forum I've ever been a part of and I consider all of you good friends.  I've had the pleasure of meeting a handful of you folks and look forward to the opportunity to meet more of you in my travels.  MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Hello everybody and a very happy Christmas and a prospreous New Year to all. Hopefully all Bmw`s will hum along with no "clunks or clattrers". Thankfully, and due to the advice and encouragement from this forum my 83 ls has morphed the clunk into a pleasant thonk while changing gears. My problem was due to a relaxed spring and worn lobes on the input shaft. We have a cold snap here in Ireland at the moment with temps well below 0 Celsius. No hope of burning tarmac but the pleasure of good whiskey and a bright turf fire.

Looking forward to hearing from you all in the New Year.

After wrestling with four grandkids for four straight days - aged 2, 5, 6 and 7 - Lynn and I are both exhausted. Happy, but exhausted.

And to all in R.SixtyFiveLand, Happy Holidays and a Healthy New Year.
