The Harvest Classic European and Vintage rally will be in Luckenbach, Texas on the 23rd and 24 th of October. Lot's of beautiful old bikes to see. :D.........a great ride through the Hill Country..a worthy cause. I have a very cool cycle but not cool enough to win here. Last year I lost to a 1915 Henderson Sidecar rig and some beautiful slash 2 sidecar rigs.  Come check it out.     harvestclassic.org

Thanks Scotty.  I was casting about for a Fall ride and that may just be the ticket.  Of course I'll have to stop at Cooper's in Lampassas for the bbq, and maybe Mr. Blues in Bandera for a couple of Shiner draft.  Too bad the Garden of Eatin' closed down in Leakey.

That's too cold, Bengt! You're harshing the vibe for ol' Ed.  [smiley=mad.gif]

Reminds me of the Marine DI who had to tell Boot Smith his mom had passed away. Typical Marine style... Aw rite, Maggots! All you jerk offs will living mothers, take one step forward. Not so fast there, Smith.

I already knew it.  So I would miss him anyway.  I liked his version of Amanda.

It's alright, Ed.  I often find "new" movies and "new" music out there, that has been there for 10-15 years! lol!

At least you don't have to try and keep up with the person's newest albums....

OK, how about this:

Out in Luckenbach, Texas, aint nobody feelin' no pain.

Most if my world is percieved through song lyrics.

Been to 'Bach more times than I can count. It's now the touristy spot to stop so the locals have pretty much abandoned it. I avoid it these days. Even Jerry Jeff Walker and his Lost Gonzo Band sang its praises but both have now passed their prime. Sad...

The bike rally is still cool but the "scene" is gone.
