May you have a Happy 4th of July. It's good to see that your independence was a lot more successful than ours!

Thanks, Bali-B!!

Happy Independance Day to all American members.
In our part of the world independance unfortunately goes hand in hand with a collapse of acceptable standards, as well as infrastructure in many areas:

Even our national Broadcasting Corporation could not survive financially, due to the mismanagement by Goverment appointed officials.........

May I include myself in these good wishes to my neighbours for a most enjoyable 4th. We just had our Canada Day celebration on July 1st. Tonight is my traditional night of tuning in the Boston Pops and Capitol 4th programs and maybe Macy's to catch the inspiring music and of course the impressive firework displays!! All with a glass of wine or two! [smiley=beerchug.gif]

Better late than never - I think it's still the 4th - and if not... in retrospect.
I hope all our American brethren had a wonderful time, with good food and wine / beer / softdrink in the company of their friends and families.

Thanks Bali! Our founders were a pretty wise group of ol' farts and put a lot of thought into things. Hopefully we won't pi$$ it away... :(

Thanks. We did our best to blowup my neighbors back yard and set the neighborhood on fire with falling cinders but were unsucessful. (Thank goodness).

Thanks for the good wishes from all of our international cuzzins. Had a great time on the 4th eating barbecue brisket, ribs, and all the trimmings. Monte and his bride Lynn came down from Denton to partake of the festivities. Turns out that he and my sister Mary went to college together back in the swinging sixties. It is a small world.
We'll keep hoping and working to keep the US of A a great place to be and we appreciate all the good neighbors out there.
