I have added a "Gallery" tab. This tab will only be visible to registered users of this forum, not to guests. Clicking on the tab will launch another browser window with the gallery. Unfortunately the user databases are not synchronized (gallery is not part of YaBB but an added feature from your admins) so you will need to register there as well. Using the same username and password would make things simpler.

Well, I stumbled thru it and finally managed to get my first photo put up in the gallery! I can see that this will be put to good use! Thanks for adding this new benefit!
-
I know a lot have asked for it so hopefully it will be appreciated. You know that you can create multiple albums under your gallery to help sort stuff/organize content.

What a great move Justin. I just registered and uploaded some photos. It is a great addition for the Forum.
Best wishes,
Paul

Hmmmm, I can't seem to log into the Gallery page, despite using the same username and password.
I'm getting an error message of *** Couldn't log in. Try again ***.
-
I love that new host smell..
-
Steve, let me repeat from the initial post:
"Unfortunately the user databases are not synchronized (gallery is not part of YaBB but an added feature from your admins) so you will need to register there as well. Using the same username and password would make things simpler."
-
OK, being barely computer literate, how do you make this work? There's a tab for create album but no further instructions. Are there size limits?
-
I am not an expert on it but you create an album (or multiple) and you then upload files and then select which of your albums they go in. I think there is a help button that takes you to documentation.
-
I never received my confirmation email so I can logon.
Thinking something had gone amiss, I attempted to register, again. It would not let me, because I was already registered.
I have waited over 1/2 hour for my email. :'(

I did read the initial post and thought I was following instructions. Apparently not.
Sorry, I was reporting what I thought might be a problem.
-
Rob, I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to say. Steve, were you not able to register on the gallery?
-
I registered, and it seemed to accept it (no security weirdo character thing, though). But I never received an email to confirm my registration.
I thought I saw a message that said I needed to reply to an email that was sent to the email address I provided.
I could be wrong! (it's happened before. shhh...)
I used the same address I am using here (for simplicity's sake! ;) ). I'm just messin' with you, Justin.
I can be very patient about stuff like this (essentially free).
Take care and get to bed. :)

NEAT!
Even this old man was able set up an album & post some pics.
Thanks,
Ed

Cool! It does seem to be fairly intuitive...
-
I'm in.
It let me re-register, and I got the email in my junk box. Just a glitch the first time, no doubt.
-
I hate it when we get consigned to the junk-box!
-
Most of us are trained to look there, at times like these!
-
So far we have 8 albums in our gallery. Don't be shy, go on over and post a few pix...
-
Hmm - is it just me - I tried registering a day ago - and I still have no password >:( I guess I'll try again
-
check your junk mail folder.
-
Oh - found it! :) Well I just must be inordinately thick - how the heck do you upload?
-
play with it. just look around.
you can either upload from your hard drive ~or~ directly from a source on the 'net!
-
Yay! I figured it out. One miss (too big) and one oops (forgot to pick a gallery and had to download it again), but I've got a start. More to come later, after I make them a bit smaller. ::)
What fun to see everyones pictures.
