Title: For those who worry about falling off
Post by: steve hawkins on February 20, 2009, 05:14:29 AM
Take a look at this:

I wonder if you could flip it by just pushing the accelerator!

Okey doke....10 000 quid? Sheesh! I'm certainly impressed with the times that it does and it looks pretty rock solid out there.

But if it's road legal and can reach those speeds.....ummm - why does it come with a trailer?  :o

Probably because it is not road legal!

I've never seen a bond bug before - I suppose that they have their own "charm" but if I was looking for that small of a car at that time period I'd have bought an MG Midget - and almost did, except my father said they were too dangerous (plus it took a while to fold my legs up into the thing.... so I ended up buying a motorcycle, which he offered me a loan to pay for part of it, provided that I let him ride it once a week.   So, we got the bike, and the story continues...

I thought the engine would be in the back!
I wouldn't want to be a passenger.

I wonder if there are any Airhead powered Bugs out there.

Is that a "Mog"?

Morgan three wheeler?

Not too safe, but a lot of fun I've heard.

Hey, it's an Isetta designed to run in reverse! (There was also a three-wheel Messerschmidt, I think, and maybe one wearing the Beemer roundel, also.) Times were tough in West Germany in the early 50s.

The photos are of a Pembleton - a British kit car - they also make them with a Guzzi (and various other engines. They are made in either three or four wheelers.

Hmm - I not sure what has happened - but the jpg that I attached has been deleted from my previous post - I'm reattaching it.   :)
