The Harvest Classic European and Vintage motorcycle Rally is going to be in Luckenbach, Texas on the 24th and 25th of October. This is a really cool ride through the Texas Hill country and a great rally. There is a shine and show contest.... The cycles are divided into divisions by age running from 1900 to present day cycles. If I remember correctly there were two Cycles made in 1915 there..looked like motorized bicycles......with leather drive belts. I think the total count of bikes shown in 2007 was just over 200. I showed my cycle.....and as cool as it is.....could not even place in the sidecar division. It is a benefit for the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer foundation. Just Goggle" Harvest Classic 2008" for information. Ya’ll come.

Hi Scotty
I do regard your sidecar as artwork - definately the coolest sidecar I have ever seen !
I just wonder about your comment : " ....... could not even place in the sidecar division "
Do you have any pics of the sidecar which won the sidecar division ?
Regards
Danie

No, sorry no pictures...... First place went to a 1928.......damn can’t remember the manufacture......anyway a very cool, beautiful old machine in John Deere green. 2nd and 3rd went to a pair of R69's with Ural sidecars. In this show ..........the older the better. Ya got to be really old to get respect. There were some beautiful blast from the past in the show. I am going again this year and will try to take some pictures.
