Hi to everyone,
since more than a year I sometimes am a guest in the forum, and it is as nice as my home forum "Kleine Boxer". So I stepped out of the namelessness now. As you can guess, I`m from Germany, habitant of the city of Frankfurt am Main. I was born in 1960, I`m still 19 or maybe in the beginning 20th. ;)
Since 30 years I`m a volunteer at the German Red Cross, 17 years ago I´ve made my hobby to my business, and never regret it. I still work as a paramedic, and I enjoy it every day.
Owner of Beppo, you can see him on the picture. R65TIC (totally integrated cockpit), 35kw, 21 years old, ex police in original color. Yes, the police color had been green/white in Germany until last year, they are now changing to blue/silver.

In the background is the silhouette from the perhaps most smallest metropolis in the world. ;D Only 650000 inhabitants.

Welcome to the forum TuLA, post often, and pictures are appreciated !

Hi TuLA,
I like that color combination, though if our police used it I might not. ;D Do you go to some of the rallies over there and meet other members of the Kleine Boxer forum that are also on this one? They look like fun.
What I like about that metropolis is that I didn't see any suburbs!
You made me do math! Your bike is an '86.
Welcome aboard!

Yes, Welcome, TuLA !
It has been a few years since my last trip to Germany, but I always had a great time while there, especially when I was in Frankfurt or south in the Bayern region.
For some reason, my trips in the north (Hannover, Hamburg) were always during the rainy time, and kept me in factories most of the time.
I certainly saw many of those green/white police bikes, fortunately I was never driving anytime we were pulled over !

Hello TuLA
Thank you for sharing the pic.
Glad to have you join us.

Thanks for your warm welcome,
@Ed
Yes, I meet a lot of the crowd, you will know ScottColumbus and Kuzzimuzzi, and I have always fun, maybe the others not that much. ;D
I`ll meet them on May,30th at the latest at Dirks home for the 2nd "Heidi-Tour"
Nothing against your math, but we are already in the year 2008. :D
@nhmaf
The reason is, that in the north are worse weather conditions, more rain, therefor colder as in the south. ;D
So you were always lucky or you stick to the rules ;)

Welcome TuLA,
I always enjoy Kuzzimuzzis pictures on Kleine Boxer and I hope to see more photos including your unique R65 after the 2nd "Heidi-Tour"!

Welcome aboard. I have many great memories of your area including learning to ride motorcycles on a R69 in Morfelden. After which I bought a R25 and rode the area for several years before being sent to a far warmer climate. My R65 gives me much the feel of the early models, with a few improvements.
Viel spass mit dein Kleine Boxer.

Hi MrRiden,
Stefan (Kuzzimuzzi) has an exellent eye for the perfect shot. I always try my best to do some "nice" photos. And surely I`ll show you them. Also from Greece. I`ll start at April,18th to ride all the way down through the balkans to Athens, where I´ll meet Panos, a greek member of the forum. Its about 1700 miles one way. There we will celebrated greek easter at April, 27th, afterwards we will make a trip on the peleponnes for a few days. I am planning my way back to Germany through the Carpathian Mountains, you know, the home of Dracula. ;D (I´ll have enough garlic with me [smiley=ROTFLMAO.gif]). So my way will lead me through Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Slovakia and the Czech republic back home. All countries of the formerly Warsaw Pact. Unfortunately I can`t go to Turkey, because I`m a deserter for them since 1981. >:( But this is another story.
@Ed (the fast one) ;)
Den Spaß mit meinem kleinen Boxer habe ich, genauso wie alle hier im Forum ihren Spaß mit ihren Kleinen haben. :D
I know Mörfelden quite well. I guess you had been in uniform in that time. I grew up nearby McNair in Höchst and I was often in the NCO-Club there. That was also the place where I improved my english knowledge a lot. But it was a long time ago.

Rolling through countries like that sounds spectacular. It takes all the romance out of my story about the New Jersey turnpike. The part about Turkey sounds like "Midnight Express".lol
