My profile says I'm 51 now?? Until yesterday it was reading at 50!
Does that mean yet another birthday??? ::)
How does this keep happening.....

Welcome to the AARP generation ! Happy Birthday, and many more to come! ( 3 months and I'm 51 also, so I feel your pain.) I guess we're pretty much a bunch of old geezers ! I think we need a poll to see how grey our members really are!

Yeah, I suppose so Bob, although I've threatened to smack the first young kid (anyone under 30) that mentions "Senior discount", AARP", etc.
Reckon I'll be going to dinner at 4:00 soon, for the Blue Plate Special...
Guess this gives being a "Senior Member" here at R65.org a whole new, literal meaning, huh? :-?

Well, it beats a senile member by a long shot!

I've got both of you young whipper-snappers beat, having turned 52 in February. I got one unexpected benefit, however, from going over the 50 mark. Somehow, the morning cashier at the local Bojangle's where I meet a riding buddy for coffee and a biscuit once or twice a week mistakenly thought I qualified for the free "senior coffee", and I thought, what the hell, I'm saving $0.99 so why not? ;D (But this must mean she thinks I'm 55, since that's the age you are supposed to be to qualify for the senior coffee discount. Hmmmm.... Maybe that ain't such a good thing.) :-/

Good grief, and I still get carded for buying beer 25 years after the person asking was born.
I don't pay attention to time, and it pays no attention to me.

Aw C'mon one of my favorite stunts while on a trip is to charge the motel counter in full road regalia, bike conspicuously parked at the doors, and slap down my AARP card and demand to know what the discount is before removing my helmet.

I don't pay attention to time, and it pays no attention to me.
That's an excellent philosophy, Ed, and pretty much one I try to live by too.
Still, though, gotta wonder every now and then where time gets to ... [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Look on the bright side, it's awfully cheep to insure an R65 :)
