I wish I liked the way dirt bikes looked, because I could use one, what with nothing between me and the coast but clear cuts, occasional forest, and lots of logging roads.  

I did take a gravel road on part of the ride home today, and I didn't wreck or nuthin.  How about that?  Maybe I just need to learn to RIDE it like an R65GS.

It was dirt and gravel that caused me to fall in love with topographic maps, in my quest for new dashed lines to explore...

Actually that was around 1987.  Probably would have been ME33/88's...
