Have fun and visit often!

Welcome to the merry throng of R65 owners!
-
At risk of being presumptious, I think I'll also go ahead and introduce Lulu...
-
Not presumptious in the least, am. We encourage folks to post photos of their rides. And what a fine and beautiful example you have!
Mileage? History?
Feel free to elaborate, share stories and ask questions. You are amongst friends.

Looks very nice, I see a lot of mods so run 'em down to us! ;)
-
I like those bar end mirrors.......
-
Am, that's one thing I like about this forum..you don't have to be asking for advice or anything...just gabbing away about your bike is all that's ever required. [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif]
But when it IS time to ask for advice and instruction, this forum steps up to the plate in a big way!
-
I'm a big fan of bar-ends myself...
-
Welcome, am! Love the name "Lulu", too! [smiley=thumbsup.gif] How'd she get her name?
-
Thats it. These pictures have convinced me.....once I pay for teh rego on my car, two bikes, sell the other bike, and cover the holiday I'm going on, I am getting some bar end mirrors.
Maybe if I stay out of the pub.....then maybe if I stop dropping my bike.......

The Napoleons I put on my Triumph were only 36 dollars apiece. Emgo sells them for 12 or 13, I think.
Of course I wanted to use a brand called Stadium, made in England, but they were over 60 dollars apiece. What do they think they are, BMW parts? ;D
I can't use them on my R65 as they would hit the fairing.
-
Yeah, milkman, mine were about 30 bucks a pair, so they're not too high.
I'm kinda liking these too, but don't know how they would look on a standard R65: more a cafe racer style.
-
That is true, and once you start modifying, you can't stop. I'm trying really hard to keep the R65 standard for now, I've even resisted touching up the paint on the frame and crash bars, becasue then I'll want to do the tank, seat, motor, bars, fairing, new pipes, fix the rack............and since we can ride all winter here, I'm never off the road long enough......
