Title: who also uses a Mac computer?

i ask because i have a mac at home and a pc at work. most of you who have pictures of your bikes as a avatar mess me up. the pictures dont resize for some reason like they do in the work pc. anyone know what i need to do or what setting needs to be adjusted so i can read the posts better at home?

I don't have the answer but am in the same boat as you are. The Mac sizing cuts off the 1st few letters of each line. Kinda irritating! [smiley=wall.gif]

i should say that i am running safari. i also have ie but dont care for it as much. can we run firefox? i never checked.

Jon, I have an eMac at home and experienced the same irritating problems as you! [smiley=angry.gif]

I found once I used Firefox for acccessing this site that the problem simply went away!   I'd give using Frefox a shot.  There's little difference between Firefox and Safari, and the one plus I've found is Firefox will rarely "freeze up" on you, whereas Safari seems to have that annoying problem pop up more often!

John, I tried Firefox and the problem did go away, although I normally use Safari too.
While we're talking Macs up in here, can anyone tell me the quick 'n' easy way to migrate files (iTunes, iPhoto) from a Mac to a Windows-based pc? I'm looking at laptops and would like to transfer some things over if it's not a major hassle, especially considering my level of computer "expertiese". ::)

what i have done to transfer files from mac to pc is to make sure they are in a similar format, mp3, jpeg, ai etc.. then i use a pc formated storage device such as a floppy or cd. the mac will be ok with it being a pc formated disk. save to it and then open in the pc. i have also emailed myself files.

and i am surprised to see this many mac users in the forum considering how many members there are. the percentage of mac numbers here are alot higher than what you find out in the normal world. maybe we have discerning tastes? bmw? mac?  :D

They make tools with quality on par with those by Snap On, and similarly insanely priced...

i was forced to use them in my former job. mac's are the main stay in the graphic world, for what ever reason they work better with the graphic side of things. so i have become bicomputal ;) but feel much more at home on a mac. go ahead and cut me off and i'll come back with a commodore 64 or a timex  [smiley=thumbsup.gif] the man cant keep me down. power to the poeple

That is why the rolling eyes.  Gotta learn to read between the bytes (or is that bits...).

found a trick to deal with the picture bleed over. i double click on the first letter in the text box and it boxes the text so you can read it easy. still cant figgure out why safari doesnt allow the sizing formating to work.
