If I was local I'd be putting an eyeball on it though...  Somebody buy it and let me have the chair!  ;D

That was my thought.

You never know, which is the problem.

A guy ran an advertisement like this in Ebay a few weeks back "R90s, fully restored, all parts there, i am moving and don't have time to put back together, all in boxes, $3,500 pick up".

Now this guy lived only 40 minutes from me and I didn't even bother  responding, now did a lot of other people.

Well, we are all kicking ourselves because the buyer got a beautifully restored R90s (some assembly required). The buyer, once he got the goodies home, posted photos on "airheads downunder".

The photos below are not the full set. Once I'd brushed the tears away I did a quick catalogue on the full set and I reckon its all there.

Yep, $3.5k and 20 hours labour would have bought an immaculate R90s.

Sometimes even something that is too good to be true is true.

Now excuse me, I have to go cry a little while (again).

If I were nearby, I'd certainly check on it.  I thought the zero was missing because $8,000 would be at least closer to normal.  I doübt you can find a Steib sidecar alone for $800 though.

As for that R90s deal.........  sorry for your loss!

This day and age there is a lot of social ills where someone needs to turn something into cash to get well. They will sell anything at a price that will go "out the door" within an hour. Unfortunately even folks with BMW side cars can find themselves in that type of jam.

Ya just never know,  are they dumb, a scammer, or "need to get well". I always call...... ya just never know. Don't take anything but cash to that dance however.

Tried to contact the guy, and messages were not returned. I'm guessing it's a scam. Sorry for the false flag. JB
