Man, I love this time of year. Took a ride this morning. High 50*F when I left, low 70*F when I got back. Rode over to the coastal barrier islands and worked my way down the coast hopping from island to island via the network of low bridges. Stopped at a little diner for breakfast then backtracked the way I came. Blue skies and blue ocean over the bridges, live oak canopy through the islands. Makes it worth putting up with the scorching summers, humidity and occasional hurricane.

Best riding conditions of the year here in the low deserts of southern Aridzona as well .
As long as you stay in the lower elevations, an hour or two ride north and you can get into sub freezing temps, early in the day .
I'll get a long ride in on Thursday morning, Thanksgiving holiday here in the US, forecast for 90 F, 32 C that day .
First Thanksgiving I've had off, in 39 years .

Before I retired I never took off Thanks Giving or the day after which was also a Holiday with my Company......
The smell of Turkey could never overcome the smell of triple time 8-)
