Title: thermal imaging camera
Post by: davidpdx on November 12, 2016, 09:51:57 AM
We got a new thermal imaging camera at work to check heating elements and hot gear boxes. I took my R100 to work and got some shots of it. It was about 45 degrees fahrenheit out and the bike had been idling for about 5 minutes.

Valve covers look to be cooler than the heads or barrels which is what you'd expect with those thick insulating gaskets.

I think I want one.

A little on the pricey side for personal use !!!!

Non-contact infared thermometers are probably the next best thing to a thermal camera for personal use and cost alot less .

I've had one for 3 years and it does come in handy around the house and vehicle use .

I have one and it does a great job on everything, including the cooking.

When you get done playing around with the Airhed you can turn out the lights and go spook hunting!
