Title: Welcome newest forum members
Post by: montmil on December 28, 2015, 11:48:22 AM
According to the "date registered" list, we have six new members for the month of December 2015 that haven't yet exposed themselves. :D

Come on folks. We know you're out there. Not necessary to own an R65, any other Airhead, some alien bike or no bike at all!

One point to remember... Residents of this here asylum love to see photos of our member's bikes.

Operators are standing by. Make that call NOW.

There are 164 members that have joined and have yet to make a post, all but a few, have never logged in since creating a profile on this site .
Only about 30-35 % of the members here are ' active ', most have not logged in or posted in years .
You can only really see this in admin mode .
Just did a quick look and about 320 members have not been logged in (49%), in over a year and 475 members have not made a posting in over a year (73%) .
651 total members .

I've seen/read a couple posts on other Airhead forums describing R65dotorg as being, "quiet".

and that's after you "culled the herd" a while back!

Still, I'd take the quality of this forum over the quantity of the others any day of the week.

We haven't culled for a while so I guess it might be time to piss off some more people.  I still get occasional e-mails from people we whacked years ago complaining that their login no longer works... ::)  I wish there was a way to just flag a membership record as "inactive" and if the crawled back out of the netherworld we could just turn 'em back on...

I went in and whacked most everybody who have never logged in and had the system send them an e-mail.  I'll try to decide what to do with old-timers with posts later.  I noticed Melena hasn't checked in in almost 3 years... :-/

I sent melena an email in August '14, right after there was a significant earthquake in her area .
At least at that time, she alive and well and had her hands full with caring for her elderly mother .
Sounded like the R65 had not been out in years .

At the last and forever Oklahoma Boxerworks Rally couple years ago, it was shared that Melena was living on a boat and attempting to get a business off the ground. None of the rally folks had heard from her in quite some time.
