I'm looking at this R65RT from '83. Not much info on previous owners, but the last one had it thoroughly checked back in 2006 and has only put 4400 miles on it since 2006.

What is a reasonable price considered the lack of info but very nice pictures?

I couldn't get the link to open for me .
By chance, is the sellers name Peter Trolle ???
-
Nope its a different one, its this one http://www.123mc.dk/dealer_page/viewAd.php?dealerID=846&directlinkID=59199

That converts to around $4600 US .
From the local market here, that may be a bit on the high side price wise .
With the amount of miles / kilometers on the bike, it may require a bit of work and money .

What would be a good price, I have some wiggle room I just dont know how far I can push the seller without being rude.

Would have edited the whole post, but I'm not allowed to edit or delete my posts.
But I'm just gonna continue in this thread to avoid starting another one.
I hope this link works: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/l90if7vjmis5lfn/AABhutvkVJfpTKreZJQZV_TKa?dl=0
This is the bike I'm going to look at this week, its sits at 4600$, has 60K miles on it, and has (as far as I can tell) only undergone standard maintenance over the years, stuff one would expect from an '80's bike.
Before I start haggling I would love to know what would be considered a good deal, a price range I could work towards.
And can anyone spot if its an ATE or Brembo brake?
-
Calipers look like Brembos to me.
It's hard to know what values are in another country but I'd say the $4600 is definitely on the high side. $4000 would still be high if it needs money spending on it.
-
Hard to put a price on a bike out of your own country, supply and demand there could be way different. I look at the prices of bikes in Australia and almost gag they are so high!
I would expect to get an average to good R100RS for that kind of money here in the States.

Thanks for the input, I suspect the Danish prices are generally higher because of the insane import taxes.
I'll have a look at it and see what I can do price wise on Friday.
One other thing, the seller tells me its a 48hk RT model, but that dosent make sense since it's from 1983 (build sep. 1982) and should be a 50hk right? Only the 1985 and onwards R65 models where 48hk AFAIK. I'm guessing the seller got the hk numbers wrong or does he know something I dont?

Never mind I just bought it, for 2525$ ;)

Looks like you did pretty good on the price !!!! :)
